Letter #49

Okay, well this week was pretty wild.  We had snow right here in Aberdeen.  Like, a couple of inches of it.  They almost cancelled church.  They did cancel ward council and Sunday School, because most of the primary/youth teachers didn't show up, and the ones that did were expecting the stake to teach this week, because it was supposed to be ward council.  So we just had sacrament meeting and let everyone go home after that.  People here are not used to the snow, and luckily, we got a bunch of rain the next day to wash out all of the snow that didn't melt.
So my new companion, Elder Murillo, is pretty great.  He's a hard worker and stuff like that, so we've been getting a lot done this last week.  Teaching lessons and knocking doors and such.  He's been pretty excited to move to an urban area.  And it's a lot easier to get stuff done when you have an excited companion.
Transfer meeting was great.  I got a letter from the office, so that defs made it worth the 150 mile round trip.  I think that's the most I've ever driven in one day before.  And then I remembered that I don't like driving.
And there wasn't really anything that noteworthy this week, but it was pretty good in general.  Next week is zone conference, so that's exciting, and the temple trip date was just announced, so that's way exciting.  Love you all.
