Letter #45

Okay, so this week was pretty great.  Landmark moment of the week:  I drove in the snow for the first time.  Also, I slid on snow for the first time.  It was just barely, but it was a definite slide, so that's going in my journal or whatever.  Also, I was going like 10 under the speed limit and there weren't any cars around me, so don't worry mom.
Well, there wasn't really too much exciting stuff that happened this week.  We had New Year's this last week, which was pretty wild.  We were supposed to be inside for most of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, and so we spent a bunch of time with members on NYE.  And then on NYD, we got a text from President Weaver to "make this a work day," but we were already booked with members again, so we kinda partied again that day.  And shared scriptures with them or whatever.
Sunday was exciting, because someone brought the track coach from one of the high schools here to church.  And he got pretty bombarded while he was there, but I don't think he got scared off for some reason.  I'm not really sure why not, but whatever.  Also, the Dennises came.  We've been trying to get them to church for forever.  And the mom put the kids on date for the 18th, so that's way cool.  We're going to have 2 of them baptized on that day, and the mom says that they're going to be at church ever week from now on.  So that's super exciting.
Well, we have interviews with President Weaver this week, so that's pretty exciting.  And our church actually didn't move times, since we are the only ones who meet in this building.  Ha, the other missionaries in this area ran into a less active who said that they wouldn't go to our ward because we meet at 9:30 instead of on an hour.  They said that that was "man-made" and if the time was really inspired, it would be at either 9:00 or 10:00.  What a weirdie.  Anyway, keeping the time.  And yeah, I'm almost out of emailing time, so I love you all!  Hope everything is going awesome.
