Letter #47

We just finished week 6 of the transfer, but it's a 7 week transfer this time, so we will find out where we are going for transfers at the end of this week.  So that's pretty exciting.

This week I got to go on an exchange to the Raymond ward.  And that place is exactly like what I expected all of the Elma zone to be like.  Lots of trees and not a lot of houses.  It's a huge area, and it's full of people who are weird and lonely.  So we talked to some of them.  It's a pretty fun place to be for a day, but I think I would hate to be there for too long.  Like, more than a week.  Haha.  They have a super cool investigator there who fed us, and is about to get baptized.  She was brought to the church by a friend who was just baptized in the ward, so that's pretty much ideal.  We watched Finding Faith in Christ with her, so that was pretty fun.

Nothing too exciting happening in Aberdeen.  We should be baptizing a couple of UBCs sometime in the next few weeks, so that's exciting.  They're super cool, and we've been teaching them for a while.  One of them is super involved in the church already, and one is a little bit less so, because he's pretty shy.  But they're both awesome.  So yeah.

And then for a little bit of a scare, last night the mother of the kids we baptized the other week had us come to the hospital because her baby had a fever of 105.7 degrees.  So we were able to go to the emergency room and give the baby a blessing.
