Letter #88

Well, we had some pretty crazy transfer calls this last week, and Elder Bradshaw and I are both leaving Orchard Heights.  It's been really hard saying goodbye to everyone, because we actually had a bunch of really good things happening in the ward.  Elder Bradshaw is going to Ocean Shores, and I will be going to Tumwater 1st ward with Elder Smart.  I'm super sad to leave Port Orchard, especially since I thought this would be my last area, but I am excited to be going to Olympia, since that was one of the places that I always wanted to serve.  I am also excited to have a car again, and to live with other missionaries (Olympia Spanish lives in the same apartment as us).
We have been teaching a few new investigators this last week that are all fairly interested in the church, which is always super exciting.  A few of them have even agreed to be baptized already, and just need to start coming out to church and take the lessons, and they will be ready.  It's been really hard having to leave such a solid teaching pool, but it definitely feels good to be leaving an area stronger than you found it.
Anyway, I don't have much more time to email, since we have to leave for transfers pretty soon, but I'm excited to go to Tumwater, and hopefully I will have a lot to say next week after I get there.
